The Palace of Versailles…

I LOVE interior design. It’s my first love. I’d describe my taste as an interior designer as extravagant, a little bold, elegant, beautiful, a little French, and a little contemporary.  On my WordPress Reader I saw a post from one of the design blogs that I follow and saw this picture of some gorgeous room that reminded me of one of my favorite masterpieces of design: the Palace of Versailles. So it’s inspired me to write this post.

I love the French. The language is sexy, the design and decorative pieces are wonderfully made, etc. And I have this thing for Black boys with European accents. I know, it’s kind of different but hey, we all have our things. Anyways, here’s a look at the Palace of Versailles, one of the most beautiful places in the world:

The bedrooms (in which I hear the queen was required to get dressed everyday in front of the public and give birth to her children in front of the public so they’d have first hand proof that there were really royal babies):

Isn’t it just lovely? I also love Islamic architecture and interior design. I’ll be blogging about that really soon too. I hope you’ve seen these pictures and enjoyed them! Don’t you want to be there now? Maybe we’ll meet in France someday, my lovelies. Until then…

Kisses!

-M.
