When you’re singing you can hear the echo of people in the audience singing every single word with you, and that was that big dream that I had for myself. It’s happening.

Fans are my favorite thing in the world. I’ve never been the type of artist who has that line drawn between their friends and their fans. The line’s always been really blurred for me. I’ll hang out with them after the show. I’ll hang out with them before the show. If I see them in the mall, I’ll stand there and talk to them for 10 minutes.

‘Cause she’s awesome…

Ohhh It Was RED!!!!!!

I went to my TAY TAY concert. Whoop Whoop!

OMG. I had soooo much fun, y’all. You don’t even understand.

Here’s a head-to-toe breakdown of the outfit that I wore:

Cynthia Rowley Sunglasseses- $10

Earrings- Like literally $3

Ring (made using an antique earring) from a Modern & Vintage Jewelry show- $15 or $20

Bracelet from Kohls- Around $10

Rachel Roy Shirt from Macy’s- $45 on sale for around $30

Drop Crotch or “Genie” Pants from Akira- $45

Leather Hobo Clutch from Marshall’s- $50 on sale for $40

Dolce Vita Sandals from Nordstrom’s Rack- Like $40?

OK, so here’s what happened before the concert:

I went to this program for rappers, singers, and poets to audition for this program to cultivate their skills. Their acceptance was based on their audition, their health (they exercised), and a little bit of intelligence. I was like a time keeper. It was OK. I was glad to help. I looked fabulous by the way. But anyway, after that I met up with my friends and we went to go pick up one of their tickets at tne stadium at around 3 something. Did you know Swifties were already there? OMG and I saw so many people in red who had drawn on their faces and legs like the number 13 and song lyrics and stuff. It’s so cool to think about how many people (out of 50,000) in my city were in Red yesterday (notice it’s capitalized). After we’d gotten her ticket, which we were totally sent on a goose chase by the way and sent to walk around when the tickets were right behind the guy who sent us on the wild goose chase, and I was in heels, we got changed at a friend’s house and then we were off… into traffic that wasn’t moving nearly fast enough so we got out and walked. Yes. Walked. Read that Tay Tay? I got out walked for you. I don’t walk when there’s perfectly good transportation around. That’s how much I love you gyrl. And eventually we started running. I was running for Tay Tay and my friend was running for Austin Mahone, who was an opening act, a.k.a. her “baby daddy.” Lolz. My two other friends were struggling to keep up. And then I got the tickets from this little website and I was worried if they were fake. I actually called and they confirmed that the tickets were real but they give out multiples of the same ticket, so we had to be there first and we’d only showed up about a half-an- hour befoe the show was supposed to start. So you can only imagine my relief when the tickets were real, only after they couldn’t scan the ticket. Oh GAWD, I started running as soon as they let me through.

OK, so the first act was Casey James who I had no idea existed until yesterday, and then Austin Mahone performed and my friend cried nearly five times, and then Ed Sheeran performed and he’s like some kind of orange haired rapper/singer/beat-boxer/guitar hitting/musical perfection. He’s AHmazing and if I wasn’t a fan before I am now.

Here’s the stage. One of my friends were in the pod, so jelly…:

Are you seeing red?:

The crowd of 50,000:

I was trying to capture the wave that the whole crowd was doing. But I had a Flip Video, which is really old, and I couldn’t zoom in to the extent that I wanted:

Ed Sheeran:

004 009 008 006 005

And here’s Tay Tay:

013 014 019 018 017 016 015 022 023 024 026 025 021 020

When she came on I screamed and I’m sorry if you can hear my horrible, horrible singing. I was sick too, and still am sick. All that singing and screaming made my throat that much worse:

And here’s her singing some more. Mind you I’m no director:

I had so much fun you guys. I wish I had taken more videos but I felt like I was missing so much while trying to record. And guess what? Taylor said that she chose my city as the last big stadium show because we’re really good and crazy fans and we dress up. And she’s so cute you guys, she was poise and proper as she said “Welcome to the Red Tour.” And she performed two songs with no shoes. She’s so down to Earth and she walked through the crowd on the floor and touched hands and she walked (well… kind of danced) to this smaller stage, that you can see above, so all of us in the back could see her better. Isn’t she AHmazing guys? And she cried during the performance of “I Almost Do.” And she played the banjo and piano guys. And it was so colorful and she had these ballet dancers and her fiddle player did this fierce performance on a red fiddle. Tay Tay is like my Beyonce. And you know she’s getting this kind of fierce walk and she really pops those hips… Get fierce gyrl, get fierce. Oh I am so going to the next concert. Thank you so much Tay Tay for one of the best nights of my life! I never sat down during your performances! And I didn’t get home until around 2 AM…

Have you been to a Taylor Swift concert this year? How much did you enjoy the Red Tour?

Red by Taylor Swift

You should be ashamed if you haven’t heard this song! My neighbors should also be ashamed for using illegal fireworks when it’s not even July 4th yet and making my heart jump every time they use another one. I live much too close to my neighbors…

I’ve been nominated for (another) blogger award…

Five awards in two days? She (meaning me) cannot handle all of this! OMG. I’ve been nominated for the Liebster Blog Award which I just found out is a way to recognize blogs who have fewer than 200 followers.  Liebster is a German word that means beloved and valued and I most definitely feel better after finding out I’ve been nominated for this award. Thank you so much Equestriangradstudent for your nomination! I’ve never visited your blog before, but I will most definitely be checking it out after your wonderful nomination! 🙂

So here are 11 random facts about me:

  1. I’ve recently discovered that I drive better in heels.
  2. Like my nominator, “Equestriangradstudent,” I’m a vegetarian, too!
  3. My favorite artist is Florence + The Machine. And for that reason, my mother is convinced that I was switched at birth, even though she listens to Kenny Rogers and watches the Andy Griffith Show.
  4. I woke up to Taylor Swift music this morning! Woo hoo!
  5. I won 4 ribbons yesterday in horse show! The first was a 4th place, then a 3rd place, and then a 1st place and then they gave me a “Reserve Champion” ribbon for second place over all. The judge told me I had lovely knees and the best quiet hands. Yeah, baby! And it was my first show ever!
  6. My newest fashion obsession is drop crotch pants, or as I call them “Genie pants.”
  7. My favorite movie is “Funny Girl” starring Barbara Streisand.
  8. I’ve always wanted a draft horse because they’re really tall and some look like they have on furry boots- like Snooki when she wears furry boots in the summer.
  9. I just started my first job! I work at a bank as an “intern” during the summer before I go to college.
  10. The best dessert I’ve ever eaten is crem brulee. My favorite meal would probably be an organic Amy’s Cheese Pizza and crem brulee for dessert.
  11. I live by quotes. My favorite quotes are four that I’ve posted on the blog:
  • Everyday is a fashion show and the world is your runway.
  • When you have come to the edge of all the light you have and step into the darkness of the unknown, believe that one of the two will happen to you either you’ll find something solid to stand on or you’ll be taught how to fly! -Richard Bach
  • Innocence: I am only stepping on your face because it lies in my path -Mason Cooley
  • I love to see a young girl go out and grab the world by the lapels. Life’s a b*tch. You’ve got to go out and kick a*s. -Maya Angelou

And now here are the answers to the questions from Equestriangradstudent:

1. What was your very first experience with horses?

I can’t even remember. I’ve always had a love for horses, long before I was riding as consistently as I am now. At events and field trips, I    always wanted to ride the ponies/ horses. One of my first parties as a little girl was actually at the farm that I take lessons at now. All my little friends got cowgirl hats.

2. First horse you owned?

I’ve never owned my own horse. My mother told me that if I took my horse lessons seriously she would buy me a horse, that was until I decided I wanted to go away to college. I haven’t heard much talk about getting my own horse since. I do plan to buy some land and have my own farm, complete with plenty of horses (one of the mares will be named Duchess) and a hot pink tractor.

3. Your current mount?

*She Googles “mount”* I have no idea how to answer this question. Does this mean horse? My first idea was to say that I hate “leg- ups” because I don’t like being tossed in the air. Lolz. I’m sorry. When I become a more advanced rider I’m sure I’ll be able to answer this question.

4. Describe him/her in one word:

*Crickets* I don’t know…

5. The horse you learned the most from?

Lady Lightning. She’s taught me and is teaching me to be brave and tougher. She’s considered to be old, because she’s twenty- four and horses only live to about thirty,  so she’s very intuitive. If I’m nervous or don’t believe in myself when I ask her to do something, she won’t do it. She’s showed me that I have to believe that I can do something, and that I can achieve it and that it can be fun. She’s also taught me the art of nonchalant- ness and the value of being the sweetest thing ever…

6. Favorite saddle? Why?

I know you’re asking about specific types of saddles. I ride English. I’m not sure about the different  types of English saddles. But my favorite color is pink. If I ever found a pink saddle I bet you that would be my favorite saddle. Why? ‘Cause it would be pink. Pink is awesome.

7. Piece of tack you couldn’t do without?

8. Do you compete?

Yes. My first ever horse show was last Sunday where I won the four ribbons that I mentioned above. I never thought that I would ever compete or do any shows, because I just wasn’t interested in competition. But after that show and winning a first place ribbon, I’m really excited about competing more and moving up to more advanced categories. The one thing I’d never compete in is horse racing. I’d be too afraid of bursting the horse’s heart (which is a real thing). I love horses too much to do something that could be that potentially dangerous. Also, the college I’ll be attending has an equestrian team that I plan to join, and they compete so I plan to participate in that.

9. Favorite horsey memory?

I was in Lady Lightning’s stall and I had a bag with a camera in it to take a picture of her. I was looking in the bag for the camera and she walked up to me, looking for food of course. I said “I don’t have any food. See?” I asked and I held open the bag for her to see for herself. She stuck her whole face in the bag, looking for food.

10. Favorite non-horsey pastime?

Reading. I love reading. I’m supposed to be getting “Carrie” and Tyra Bank’s book. My favorite genre is fiction as you may have assessed. I also like shopping. That’s one of the reasons why I’ll be a good interior designer. If shopping were a sport I’d be in the Olympics. 2016, baby!

11. Goals for this year?

To spend as much quality time with my friends and family before I leave for college. I want to have good relationships with everyone before I leave because I want their love and my memories of them to carry me through these next four years and still have good, strong, and healthy relationships when I come back. I also want to pass this upcoming test to graduate and survive this three hour a day math class that meets three days a week that I have coming up… Pray for me.

OK. So “Some Fabulous Chick’s Blog.” is all about real beauty, fashion, quotes, design, discovering who I am, creating who I want to be, and some other random things. So in honor of everything (including the randomness) that my blog is about, here are my questions/ requests for my nominees:

  9. Why do you blog?
  10. And now, for my Oprah question, who are you?

And here come the questions…

I like being different. I love that you will never meet anyone like me again in your entire life. But I hate when people find out how different or interesting I am and ask me questions. I don’t mind one or two, but multiple questions hitting me like ping pong balls, is too much. It blows people’s mind that I’m:

  1. a vegetarian
  2. young and in highschool and college at the same
  3. a Muslim

They find out and huhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh… here come the questions.

Why don’t you cover you head as often as other Muslims do? Are you a virgin? Why are you a virgin? You’re not going to have sex until you get married? When you get older are going to wait to have sex until you get married? When you get older will you convert to a different religion? How do you pray? Do you believe in heaven? What’s your ethnicity? Do you believe in dinosaurs? So you do or don’t believe in heaven? Do you believe in Jesus? You’ve never eaten meat? Do you wear weave? What do you eat? What you eat for breakfast this morning? What did you eat for lunch yesterday? What did you have for dinner last night? How are you in high school and college at the same time? Wait… so you’re saying ____________? Why are you soooo young and in college? Isn’t it illegal to be in college that young? Are you going to marry a Muslim? Can I go do some research and come back for a part two? So what are you taught? (P.S. We’re not taught to be terrorists. I freak out when I have to frggin’ kill an ant.)

I love people’s curiosity. I love that people find me mind- blowingly interesting. That’s amazing. It makes me feel special. But I am not a science experiment so don’t question me like I am one. Please. I am a girl, a very pretty girl I might add, and I’m just a little different than you are.  Besides a few differences, I am like you. I eat, I sleep, I listen too way to much Taylor Swift (that is how you wake up in the morning people), I sing off- key in the car, I paint my nails, I couldn’t live without Pandora, I like girly things, and I am guilty of the duck face sometimes when I take pictures and when I dance. “I’m just like you” *sings in her best Hannah Montana voice* Oh, and I watched Hannah Montana when it first came on! I have these tiny differences that seem to blow people’s mind. I don’t get it.

Please stop with all the questions. I can’t deal with it…

Stop asking homosexuals, black people, Muslims, and people from other countries a billion questions! We are people too and we get flustered! Geesh…

Taylor Swift in Dolce & Gabbana at the ACM Awards

Taylor Swift in Dolce & Gabbana at the ACM Awards

Taylor Swift in a Dolce & Gabbana gown with Jimmy Choos, Norman Silverman earrings and a Le Vian ring. Doesn’t my Tay Tay looks absolutely gorgeous? Who says country music can’t get a little fabulous?

I’m intimidated by the fear of being average.
-Taylor Swift

Never be average. Be superduperextraordinary (new word in the “Fabulous Chick’s” Dictionary… look it up).

I’m intimidated…

Yes you read right. No I am not a white girl, but yes… I do love Taylor Swift.

Huhhh… this process to get these tickets has been long. “Why?” you may ask. Well let me tell you…

See three of my friends and I went to a Demi Lovato concert last year and we decided that we wanted to go to a Taylor Swift concert (they also plan to go to a One Direction concert, which although I have no problems with the boy band, I have no interest in majority of their music, tight pants, loads of hair, and screaming fans, but mostly I see a lack of six packs and as a boy band that is part your requirement).

So when the tour dates were finally posted… none of us had the money at the time. Originally five of us were supposed to go to the Demi Lovato concert, as five of us had bought tickets, and the fifth member who did not attend was supposed to go to the Taylor Swift concert with us. Well… she’s not anymore due to prior financial obligations and she’s not the only one. Two more people who were supposed to go decided they couldn’t afford it and dropped out too. I already had the money and so did another one of my friends. So basically we were waiting on three people with whom we were waiting on to get their money , but were not going to go. One of them, I think she kind of really wanted to go and just couldn’t (the one who was also supposed to attend the Demi Lovato concert  but I appreciate her because she let me know earlier that she wouldn’t be able to go). The other, I was surprised she even wanted to go. And another, I’m pretty sure, already knew she wasn’t going to go. But, I guess I can’t blame them because one of my friends and and another member who are going, took a little while to get their money (they kept forgetting), but I love them sooo much I could never be upset. So when everyone finally got the money (which was like last week), I spent probably a good hour and a half on the internet trying to find not-so-expensive tickets in the quantity that we needed (four). I almost cried because the only options were small websites run by people who buy tickets from TicketMaster and StubHub and charge an extra like   $25 per ticket in addition to a $20 delivery fee. So basically what we thought were going to be $100 tickets turned into a $560- something bill. Ha! Talk about expensive. These people were charging more than TicketMaster and StubHub for (I’ve seen the tickets’ section and row) crap seats! I could’ve gotten better seats for me and my friends on a website like TicketMaster. Tay Tay is so lucky that I love her becuase otherwise I would not be going to this concert. OMJ! And then the person who owns the website I’ve purchased the tickets from decided they wanted to print the tickets from their home using TicketFast (TicketMaster)  instead of just waiting for the actual physical manifestation of the tickets. They’re legit because the guy bought it from TicketMaster, but still… Gawd. Next time, I’m hoping my lovely friends will learn to have their money a little earlier because we will definitely be in the nosebleed section. But at least we’re going and we’ll have this experience before I’m whisked away to college. But the good thing is… we’re going to see Taylor friggin’ Swift. Swiftie 4 Life:
